Jerri, registered nurse and health coach

Hi, I’m Jerri

Jerri has been a registered nurse since 1985. Over more than 40 years she has worked in many settings, including 18 years in labor and delivery and more than 20 years in family medicine and clinical primary care. She is a Diabetes Educator and holds a degree in natural health. As a nurse coach, she brings that experience to one-on-one coaching, helping people understand their health and turn their goals into steps that fit their lives.

I knew early in life I wanted to help people. My entire adult life has led to “Nurse Jerri” and health coaching, giving me experiences across the whole life span, birth to death and everything in-between. Along with my personal life challenges, I am exceptionally prepared to help you look at your own health concerns, set up goals, and support you through your personal journey toward living your best life to the fullest.

Why nurse coaching?

Many people leave a doctor’s appointment knowing what they should do, but not how to make it work in real life. Nurse coaching fills that gap. As a registered nurse, Jerri understands health conditions, care plans, and how the health system works. As a coach, she helps you decide what matters most to you and build a plan you can keep.

My approach

You lead

Your goals, your pace, your values. Coaching starts with what matters to you.

Plain language

No jargon. We’ll talk things through until they make sense.

Whole person

Health is more than numbers: sleep, stress, work, family, and joy all count.

Small, steady steps

Realistic changes you can build on, not an all-or-nothing overhaul.

Team player

Coaching works alongside your physician and care team, never in place of them.

Four ways to meet

By phone (just a regular phone call, no computer or app needed), online video sessions (Zoom), home visits in your own home (south central Wisconsin, with farther locations considered case by case), or in person at Jerri’s Madison West office.

Let’s talk

The first step is a free, no-pressure discovery call.
